Die Nachricht kam überraschend. Nach dem Ungarn-Rennwochenende gab Audi bekannt, dass die aktuelle Doppelspitze aus Andreas Seidl und Oliver Hoffmann Geschichte ist. Die Streithähne, über die wir erst vor wenigen Tagen ausführlich berichtet hatten, sollen dem F1-Projekt keinen weiteren Schaden zufügen und Grabenkämpfe befeuern. Schluss, aus, vorbei.

Tabula Rasa also und als neuer starker Mann, der Sauber und Audi erfolgreich zusammenbringen soll, ist Mattia Binotto am Start. Der ehemalige Ferrari-Teamboss soll im Eiltempo für kurzfristige Erfolge auf der Strecke sorgen, die Personalplanung vorantreiben (Stichwort: Carlos Sainz!) und die langfristige Zukunft erfolgreich gestalten. Kein leichter Job. Wir geben euch in dieser Episode einen Überblick über die Situation und schätzen ein, wie sich Binotto wohl schlagen wird.
