Verfolger im Nacken! McLaren und Ferrari jagen Verstappen!

Der große Preis der Emilia Romagna war kein Kracher, darüber gibt es (bei uns) keine zwei Meinungen. Dennoch konnten wir einige Erkenntnisse sammeln, die uns eine Menge Hoffnung machen. Sportlich gesehen jedenfalls. Das Ferrari-Upgrade ist kein game changer, sollte das aber auch nie sein. Eine gelungene Weiterentwicklung mit viel Potential ist es dennoch. Auch Mercedes ist vorsichtig optimistisch und das Katastrophen-Wochenende von Fernando Alonso darf auch nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass auch Aston Martin gute Arbeit leistet. Für Max Verstappen könnte es künftig also mindestens so knapp werden wie beim Zieleinlauf in Imola. Vielleicht muss er sich bald auch häufiger der Konkurrenz geschlagen geben. Zentraler Aspekt des gesamten Rennwochenendes waren auch die zahlreichen Aktionen zum Gedenken an Ayrton Senna und Roland Ratzenberger, die an gleicher Stelle vor exakt 30 Jahren ihre Liebe zur Formel 1 mit dem Leben bezahlt hatten. Sebastian Vettel stand im Mittelpunkt einiger Aktionen und das gesamte Paddock machte mit. Tolle Szenen, die auch wir in dieser Episode aufgreifen.
